Prayer

I have purposed in my heart to pray more this year for our missionaries.

I have always been a believer in sending out missionaries to other countries. Now I pray for missionaries who have completely surrendered to the Lord to serve God also in the USA.

Never before have I seen such sin amoung our young people as well as our older adults.

As we get older the word of the Lord SHOULD become more precious to us than ever berfore.

I know that today for me, it just gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by.

You ask yourself sometimes why now.

I really don't have an answer to that only that as I get older life becomes more precious to me.

I don't think of myself all the time but find I think of others and their needs.

Our missionaries have needs that we have no idea of at this time.

God knows what those needs are and if we only pray, "Lord I don't know what their need is at this time but you do." Please supply what you know they are in need of.

We had a missionary family in last night for dinner before their son goes back to college. I found out that there was a missionary who was in need and had no money and needed it NOW, or so he thought.

On Monday he got an anouminous gift of 6,000.00 dollars for Christmas. The missionary who recieved this 6,000.00 was not the family we had in for dinner last night but a family friend of theirs.
What a blessing to be able to call this family and say, hey, you just got 6,000.00 for a Christmas gift and I am putting that money into your account now.

Now in God's own time the Lord supplied his every need and more.

He is always on time with all of our needs and those needs will be met in God's time.

We cannot forget that our job is to pray and pray some more.

This week I have a special missionary that I am praying for. I am praying for him and his family that God will always supply all their needs but also that His hand of protection will be on this family at all times. God does not just call a man but his entire family so we must pray for all of them.

This does not mean that I am not praying for all of our missionaries and their needs but I want to choose a missionary to pray for several times a day for a whole week and call that famlies name out to our most wonderful Heavenly Father.

Thank God for his promises to take care of us where ever we are and that he will supply all of our needs.

Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Love to all of you,
Janice

Great post, mom. We should all be on our knees praying earnestly for missionaries. They face battles we don't know of. They face battles even THEY don't know of and through the help of prayer warriors, those battles are being won.
